30th Session of UNESCO'S World Heritage Committee: Hampi and Cologne Cathedral removed from red list

The World Heritage Committee already took some decisions at it's 30th Session in Vilnius:

The Cologne Cathedral (Germany), the Djoudj Bird Sanctuary (Senegal), the Ichkeul National Park (Tunisia), and Hampi (India) was removed from the red List of World Heritage in Danger.

Another topic was the threat of global warming to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The World Heritage Committee now agreed upon a strategy to react to the climate change.

This strategy received diverse comments throughout the media:

The Dresden Elbe Valley was inscribed on the red list of World Heritage in Danger:
