30th session of UNESCO's World Heritage Committee: 18 new UNESCO World Heritage Sites
Altogether 18 new Sites were inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List by the World Heritage Committe during it's 30th session Vilnius.
Now the list counts 830 properties in 138 countries.
The new UNESCO World Heritage Sites are:
- Aflaj Irrigation Systems of Oman (Oman)
- Aapravasi Ghat (Mauritius)
- Agave Landscape and Ancient Industrial Facilities of Tequila (Mexico)
- Bisotun (Iran (Islamic Republic of))
- Centennial Hall in Wroclaw (Poland)
- Chongoni Rock Art Area (Malawi)
- Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)
- Crac des Chevaliers and Qal’at Salah El-Din (Syrian Arab Republic)
- Genoa: Le Strade Nuove and the system of the Palazzi dei Rolli (Italy)
- Harar Jugol, the Fortified Historic Town (Ethiopia)
- Kondoa Rock Art Sites (United Republic of Tanzania)
- Malpelo Fauna and Flora Sanctuary (Colombia)
- Old town of Regensburg with Stadtamhof (Germany)
- Sewell Mining Town (Chile)
- Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries (China)
- Stone Circles of Senegambia (Gambia)
- Vizcaya Bridge (Spain)
- Yin Xu (China)

Beside the Dresden Elbe Valley the Medieval Monuments in Kosovo were put on the red list of World Heritage in Danger.
