Key Tourism and Heritage Charters, Conventions and Declarations
The highly reccomendable blog Single Planet form Beijing has now published a long list of Charters, Conventions and Declarations on Tourism and Cultural Heritage.
Finding the original texts of all the international charters, conventions and declarations relevant to tourism and cultural heritage is a grinding, lengthy task, and it doesn't help that the various search engines do not pick up the well-hidden locations of many of them. Even using the UNWTO search engine does not bring up their own repository, but curiously does direct you to the place where you can pay money to receive them electronically.

I have visited this place (Imperial Palace) during my last trip to Beijing in 2002. I love the Badaling Great Wall as well. Beijing is a nice place to visit. I will consider to go back there again in the future.
