UNESCO World Heritage in Young Hands
Especially for young people and pupils the topic UNESCO World Heritage is an important one. They are those who will inherit all the cultural and natural sites from us in the future.
To teach them about the idea of the UNESCO World Heritage List the UNESCO published already in 1999 the World Heritage Educational Resource Kit entitled World Heritage in young hands for teachers.
Based on an interactive and interdisciplinary approach, the Kit invites teachers of various disciplines to explore various aspects of heritage conservation with their students in the form of a journey through the worlds magnificent cultural and natural heritage.
