The UNESCO World Heritage Site Luxembourg

Posted on 18. January 2005 um 09:29 Uhr

Last weekend i spent in Luxembourg, where i was working at a tourism fair (VAKANZ 2005).

The interesting small country has been affected by the death of the Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte.

An introduction to this small country could be found at wikipedia.

At the website of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre all information about the UNESCO World Heritage Site Luxembourg is listed.

The main reason for the inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List are the extended and well preserved fortifications.

Since the 1st of January Luxembourg took over the council presidency of the European union.
