Hello,
my name is Matthias Ripp and with this Website i would like to support the exchange about UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Already some months ago i discovered, that there is still no satisfying platform for the exchange of views about the topic of world heritage. Thus i decided to develop one by myself. My interest in this topic is on the one hand, because of my job where i am responsible for the touristic marketing of the UNESCO World Heritage City Bamberg, and on the other hand because of scientific interest: I am writing on my thesis in my PhD studies on the topic of Maganement models for UNESCO World Heritage Cities. With this Website I would like to report on current developments, conferences, etc. in my Web log and make my publications accessible for users who are intersted. World heritage is an international topic and therefore I will publish all entries in german and english. Comments are most welcome. You can contact me also with other questions, suggestions or ideas around the topic UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

very nice website. The topic is not very popular in the states, but I am interested. Last year I travelled through Europe and the rich cultural landscape was really impressing. Keep on blogging...
